Streusel Topping:
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Make crust: Combine flour, brown sugar, and butter. Press into pan and bake until golden.
- Make cheesecake mixture: Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Pour over crust.
- Prepare apple layer: Mix apples, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread over cheesecake layer.
- Make streusel topping: Combine brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, and butter. Sprinkle over apples.
- Bake bars: Bake for 35-40 minutes until set. Chill before serving.
