Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (204 degrees C) to prepare for baking the casserole.
- Prepare Asparagus: In a large bowl, combine the trimmed asparagus, olive oil, minced garlic, sea salt, and black pepper. Toss to evenly coat all the asparagus pieces.
- Layer Ingredients: In a small baking dish suitable for asparagus spears, layer one-third of the asparagus evenly, then sprinkle one-third of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over it. Repeat this process two more times to create three layers of asparagus and cheese.
- Bake Casserole: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Prepare Hollandaise Sauce: While the casserole bakes, prepare your hollandaise sauce according to your preferred recipe or use a prepared version.
