Blackberry Juice:
- 2 ¼ oz blackberry juice (from fresh blackberries)
Mint Mixture:
- 5 spearmint leaves
- Dash of coarse sugar (optional)
- ¼ oz simple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
Final Mix:
- 4 ¾ oz sparkling white grape juice (chilled, non-alcoholic)
- Fresh blackberries or mint sprigs (for garnish)
Instructions
- Make the blackberry juice: Muddle fresh blackberries in a glass until soft and juicy. Strain through cheesecloth or a nut milk bag. Measure 2 ¼ oz.
- Muddle the mint: Add mint leaves to the juice. Sprinkle a little coarse sugar if you like. Muddle gently.
- Mix: Add simple syrup (if using) and ice. Shake or stir to chill.
- Top & serve: Strain into a glass, top with sparkling grape juice, and garnish with blackberries or mint.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup.
- For a stronger mint flavor, muddle the mint leaves a bit longer.
