  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Blueberry Delight is a no-bake dessert featuring a crunchy graham cracker crust layered with creamy vanilla pudding mixed with Cool Whip, topped with sweet blueberry pie filling and a final dollop of whipped topping. This easy-to-make, chilled dessert is perfect for quick preparation and serving at gatherings or as a refreshing treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 1 ½ cups (170g) graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Filling

  • 1 (3.4 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip (1 small container)

Topping

  • 1216 ounces Cool Whip
  • 2 cups blueberry pie filling
  • Additional graham cracker crumbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs and sugar until combined well. Add the melted butter and mix with a fork until the mixture has a sandy texture. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch square pan to form an even crust layer.
  2. Make the Pudding Layer: Place 8 ounces (one small container) of Cool Whip into a medium bowl. Add the instant vanilla pudding mix and stir vigorously until the pudding mix is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth and creamy. Spread this pudding mixture evenly over the prepared graham cracker crust.
  3. Add Blueberry Topping: Pour the blueberry pie filling over the pudding layer, spreading it out evenly to cover the surface.
  4. Finish with Whipped Topping and Garnish: Top the blueberry layer with the remaining Cool Whip (about ½ to one full 8-ounce container) spreading gently. Finally, sprinkle additional graham cracker crumbs over the top as a garnish.
  5. Chill Before Serving: Refrigerate the assembled dessert for at least 1 hour to allow it to set and the flavors to meld. Serve chilled for best taste and texture.

Notes

  • For best results, chill for longer than 1 hour if time permits, up to 4 hours.
  • You can substitute the blueberry pie filling with other fruit pie fillings such as cherry or strawberry for variety.
  • Use full-fat Cool Whip for creamier texture.
  • Make sure the butter is fully melted and slightly cooled before mixing with the crumbs to ensure even texture.
  • Store leftovers chilled in an airtight container and consume within 3 days.
