  • 3 1/2 to 4 oz cubed fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 1/3 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (not packed)

Liquid Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 tbsp grape-seed oil (or extra virgin olive oil)
  • 1 1/4 cups buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8×4-inch bread pan.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, bread flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add Flavorings: Mix in basil, mozzarella, and sun-dried tomatoes until evenly distributed.
  4. Prepare Liquid Mixture: In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, oil, and buttermilk.
  5. Combine and Mix: Pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon until well combined (dough will be sticky).
  6. Bake: Transfer the dough to the bread pan, spread evenly, and bake for 40-45 minutes.
