Steak Bites:
- 2 lbs (900g) sirloin steak – cut into bite-sized cubes
Marinade:
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3 garlic cloves – minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp butter – cut into small pieces
Garnish:
- Fresh parsley – chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Steak: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Mix the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Add to Crockpot: Place the steak cubes into the crockpot and pour the marinade over the steak, making sure each piece is well-coated.
- Add Butter: Dot the steak with small pieces of butter.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours. The steak should be tender and flavorful.
