Dough:

  • 3 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll sheets
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened, divided

Filling:

  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven. Spray muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Roll out dough. Roll out each tube of dough to a 12×16-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
  3. Spread butter over dough. Spread softened butter evenly over each dough sheet.
  4. Prepare cinnamon sugar. Whisk together sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture. Sprinkle mixture over each buttered dough sheet.
  6. Roll up dough. Roll each sheet into a log.
  7. Cut and shape. Cut the log, then shape into cinnamon rolls.
  8. Place in muffin tin. Put the rolls into a muffin tin.
  9. Bake. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Roll in cinnamon sugar. Roll each cruffin in cinnamon and sugar.
