Pork Breakfast Sausage
- 1 pound

- 18 large, divided
Butter
- 4 tablespoons, divided
Whole Milk
- 1 cup, divided
Kosher Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon
Coarse Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon
Ground Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon
Texas Toast
- 12 slices
American Cheese
- 12 slices
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook the breakfast sausage in a large pan until browned, breaking it apart. Drain fat.
- Add butter to the pan. Whisk 10 eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble eggs until set.
- Layer ingredients in a 9×13 pan. Top with cheese, sausage, eggs, more cheese, and bread.
- Prepare egg mixture. Pour over the pan, top with remaining bread slices. Brush with melted butter.
- Bake covered for 20 minutes, then uncovered for an additional 20 minutes.
