Cauliflower Steaks:
- 1 medium head of cauliflower, sliced about 1/2” thick
Marinade:
- 1/4 cup oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire or soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (or herbs of choice)
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- kosher salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
Toppings:
- 1/2 cup cheese (feta, cotija, parmesan, cheddar)
- 2 Tablespoons minced parsley or cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat the grill: Pre-heat grill to medium-high to high heat. Ensure the grill grates are clean.
- Prepare the marinade: In a bowl, mix oil, garlic, Worcestershire/soy sauce, dried herbs, lemon pepper seasoning, chili powder, and onion powder. Brush the marinade onto both sides of the cauliflower slices. Season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the cauliflower: Place marinated cauliflower steaks on the grill. Cook for 2-4 minutes on each side until charred and crispy.
- Finish and serve: Transfer the steaks to a platter. Sprinkle cheese on top while hot to melt. Garnish with parsley or cilantro. Enjoy!
