Cauliflower Steaks:

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, sliced about 1/2” thick

Marinade:

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire or soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (or herbs of choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup cheese (feta, cotija, parmesan, cheddar)
  • 2 Tablespoons minced parsley or cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill: Pre-heat grill to medium-high to high heat. Ensure the grill grates are clean.
  2. Prepare the marinade: In a bowl, mix oil, garlic, Worcestershire/soy sauce, dried herbs, lemon pepper seasoning, chili powder, and onion powder. Brush the marinade onto both sides of the cauliflower slices. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the cauliflower: Place marinated cauliflower steaks on the grill. Cook for 2-4 minutes on each side until charred and crispy.
