Instructions
- Melt Butter: Heat the butter in a large pot over medium heat until it is fully melted and smooth, preparing the base for melting the marshmallows.
- Cook Marshmallows: Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and stir constantly over medium heat until the marshmallows have completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract to enhance flavor.
- Combine with Cereal: Add the Lucky Charms cereal and 1/4 cup of the dehydrated cereal marshmallows to the melted marshmallow mixture. Stir carefully but thoroughly to coat all the cereal pieces evenly with the marshmallow mixture.
- Press Into Pan: Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Transfer the cereal mixture into the dish and press it down evenly with a spatula or wax paper to form a compact layer.
- Add Topping: Sprinkle and gently press the remaining 1/4 cup of dehydrated cereal marshmallows onto the top of the pressed mixture to add extra charm and texture, if desired.
- Set and Serve: Allow the treats to cool and set at room temperature for at least one hour to solidify before slicing into bars and serving.
