Instructions

  3. Combine Cereal and Marshmallows: Remove the pot from heat immediately. Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal along with the remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows, mixing promptly to coat the cereal evenly as the residual heat melts the extra marshmallows slightly.
  4. Add Regular M&Ms: Fold in 1 cup of regular-sized M&M candies gently to disperse their fun colors and chocolate flavor throughout the treat mixture.
  5. Press into Pan: Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×9 inch baking dish. Using a piece of greased wax paper, press the mixture lightly and evenly into the pan, forming a compact layer.
  6. Melt Chocolate Chips: In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the ½ cup of milk chocolate chips by heating in short 15-second bursts, stirring after each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
