  • 3/4 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 2 whole oranges
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Sift Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  2. Prepare Oranges: Take one orange, cut in half, and juice it. Peel the other orange, then slice it into chunks.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, combine egg, sugar, milk, oranges pieces, juice, and butter. Mix until well combined.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Pour the liquid mixture over the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Add Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Bake: Spoon batter into muffin pans and bake at 380°F for about 25 minutes until golden brown.

Notes
