Brownie Base:

- 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Sour cream (optional)

- 1 1/4 cups Granulated sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch baking pan by greasing it with butter or lining it with parchment paper.
- Mix the brownie base: In a bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and eggs. Add flour and baking powder, mixing until smooth. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 20–25 minutes.
- Prepare the cheesecake layer: Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and sour cream until smooth. Pour over the cooled brownie base and smooth the top.
- Bake: Bake the brownie cheesecake at 325°F (160°C) for 35–40 minutes until the cheesecake is set but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Cool and chill: Let the brownie cheesecake cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving chilled.
