  • Author: Mariam
  • Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 12 servings 1x

Description

Create a delightful and festive Romantic Valentine’s Day Bark perfect for gifting or enjoying as a sweet treat. This easy no-bake recipe combines smooth melted chocolate with colorful Valentine-themed candy toppings to make a beautiful and tasty dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate Base

  • 2 cups milk or semi-sweet chocolate bar, chopped or chocolate chips (16 ounces)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, to thin out chocolate)

Toppings

  • Brach’s Cinnamon Jelly Hearts
  • “Pucker-Up” Lips (Gummi Sour Cherry Hearts)
  • Brach’s Valentine Conversation Heart Candies
  • Festive sprinkles of your choice

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Baking Sheet: Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set it aside to prepare for the chocolate bark.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate and coconut oil together in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each interval until the chocolate is smooth and silky.
  3. Spread the Chocolate: Pour the melted chocolate onto the lined baking sheet. Using a spatula, spread the chocolate evenly into a layer about 1/4 to 1/3 inch thick.
  4. Add the Toppings: Sprinkle the top of the melted chocolate with jelly hearts, sour jelly lips, conversation heart candies, and festive sprinkles or any toppings you prefer, pressing lightly to adhere.
  5. Refrigerate to Set: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours or until the chocolate hardens completely. Once set, break into pieces by hand or cut into squares with a sharp knife.

Notes

  • Use coconut oil sparingly to avoid thinning the chocolate too much.
  • Feel free to customize toppings with nuts, dried fruits, or other candies.
  • Store the bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
  • Let the bark come to room temperature briefly before serving for better flavor.
