Instructions
- Preheat the smoker: Set your smoker to 225°F (107°C) to ensure the optimal low and slow smoking temperature for shrimp.
- Prepare the spice mix: In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons chili powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon ground black pepper. Mix well and set aside.
- Season the shrimp: Place the peeled and deveined shrimp in a large bowl. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and toss gently until evenly coated. Sprinkle the prepared spice mix over the shrimp and toss again to evenly distribute the seasoning.
