Ingredients
Scale
Oats Base
- 1 cup gluten free old fashioned rolled oats
- 3/4 cup oat milk (or any preferred milk)
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar (or any sugar of choice)
- 1 tbsp vanilla protein powder (optional; can substitute with 1/2 tsp vanilla extract if omitted)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
Icing
- 1–2 tbsp powdered sugar
- Tiny splash of milk
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Gather all ingredients including gluten-free oats, oat milk, coconut sugar, vanilla protein powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and baking powder.
- Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the oats, oat milk, coconut sugar, protein powder (or vanilla extract), cinnamon, vanilla extract, and baking powder. Blend until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined, creating a batter-like consistency.
- Grease Baking Dish: Lightly grease a small baking dish to prevent sticking and ensure easy removal of the baked oats.
- Pour Batter: Pour the blended oat mixture into the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake: Place the baking dish in a preheated oven at 400°F (204°C). Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is cooked through.
- Prepare Icing: While the oats bake, mix 1-2 tablespoons of powdered sugar with a tiny splash of milk until you achieve a smooth, drizzleable consistency.
- Cool and Glaze: Once baked, remove the oats from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Drizzle the prepared icing over the top before serving.
