Description
This Sugar Free Raspberry Sorbet is a refreshing, low-calorie dessert made with frozen raspberries, lemon juice, and a natural monk fruit sweetener blend. It’s naturally sweetened without any added sugar, making it a perfect guilt-free treat that’s both easy to prepare and deliciously smooth.
Ingredients
Scale
Fruit
- 12 oz raspberries (fresh or frozen)
Other
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Allulose Blend (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp water (as needed to thin)
Instructions
- Freeze the Raspberries: If using fresh raspberries, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread them in a single layer. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely solid to ensure a smooth sorbet texture.
- Blend Ingredients: Place the frozen raspberries, lemon juice, and Besti sweetener into a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides to incorporate all pieces evenly. Taste and adjust the sweetener if necessary.
- Adjust Consistency: If the sorbet mixture is too thick, add up to 1/4 teaspoon of water gradually and blend again to reach a smooth, scoopable consistency suitable for serving.
Notes
- Use fresh raspberries that you have frozen yourself for better control over texture.
- The monk fruit sweetener blend is used as a natural, sugar-free alternative; adjust quantity based on your preferred sweetness.
- Serve immediately as a soft-serve sorbet or freeze further for a firmer texture.
- This recipe can be made with other berries such as blueberries or blackberries for variation.
