Turkey Cranberry Sliders Recipe

  • Author: Mariam
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders 1x

Description

These Turkey Cranberry Sliders are a festive and delicious handheld meal perfect for holiday gatherings or game day. Made with tender shredded turkey, tangy cranberry sauce, melty provolone cheese, and sweet Hawaiian rolls topped with a buttery honey-Dijon glaze and everything bagel seasoning, they combine savory and sweet flavors in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale

Sliders

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 3 cups shredded turkey (about 12 ounces)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese (6 slices)

Glaze

  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350˚F to prepare for baking the sliders evenly.
  2. Prepare Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, and Dijon mustard until smooth. Set this flavorful glaze aside to use later.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Evenly spread the shredded turkey over the rolls, followed by dollops of cranberry sauce. Layer the provolone cheese slices on top of the cranberry sauce.
  4. Top and Glaze: Replace the top halves of the rolls. Using a pastry brush, spread the prepared glaze over the tops and sides of the rolls. For extra flavor, cut between each slider to allow the glaze to seep in between (optional). Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning evenly on top.
  5. Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 18-22 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown, and the sliders are heated through.

Notes

  • For best results, use freshly shredded turkey or leftover turkey from a roast.
  • The everything bagel seasoning adds a savory crunch but can be omitted or substituted with sesame seeds or poppy seeds if unavailable.
  • Cutting between sliders before glazing enhances flavor absorption but can be skipped for easier assembly.
  • Serve warm for the best taste, and these sliders can be reheated covered in a low oven or microwave.
