- 80g vegan vanilla protein powder
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 85g pistachio butter
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 120ml milk of choice
For the pistachio layer:
- 85g pistachio butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
For the chocolate coating:
- 120g dark chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Prepare the protein bars: In a large bowl, mix pistachio butter, milk, and maple syrup. Fold in the protein powder and cocoa to form a dough.
- Press into a loaf tin: Line a 22×12 cm loaf tin with parchment paper. Press the dough into the tin.
- Create the pistachio layer: Mix pistachio butter and maple syrup in a bowl, then spread over the dough. Freeze for 30 minutes and slice into bars.
- Coat with chocolate: Melt the dark chocolate and drizzle or dunk the bars to coat. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate until set.
