  • Author: Mariam
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 8 cups 1x

Description

Werewolf Chow is a deliciously indulgent no-bake snack mix combining crispy Chex cereal, rich chocolate, creamy peanut butter, and sweet brownie mix, all tossed together with caramel corn and peanut butter candies. Finished with fun candy eyes, this treat is perfect for parties, Halloween, or anytime you crave a sweet and crunchy snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup Creamy peanut butter

Main Mix

  • 5 cups Chex cereal (rice or corn)
  • 2 cups Dry brownie mix
  • 6 ounces Caramel corn
  • 4 ounces Chocolate peanut butter candy
  • 4 ounces Mini chocolate peanut butter cups
  • 20 Candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate and peanut butter: In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and creamy peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  2. Coat the cereal: Place the Chex cereal in a large bowl. Pour the melted chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the cereal and gently stir until all the pieces are evenly coated.
  3. Toss with brownie mix: Add the dry brownie mix to a large resealable plastic bag. In batches if necessary, add the chocolate-coated cereal to the bag, seal, and shake well until the cereal is thoroughly coated with the brownie mix.
  4. Combine all ingredients: Transfer the coated cereal back to a large bowl and add the caramel corn, chocolate peanut butter candies, mini peanut butter cups, and candy eyes. Toss everything gently to combine evenly.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Your Werewolf Chow is ready to eat immediately. Store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
