Ingredients
Scale
Dry Ingredients
- 5 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
- 10 oz. mini marshmallows
- 2 cups marshmallow fluff
Wet Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line a baking sheet with wax paper and lightly grease it with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a pot over low heat, melt the butter. Add mini marshmallows and stir continuously until they are completely melted and smooth.
- Coat Cereal: Remove the pot from heat immediately and stir in the Fruity Pebbles cereal until every piece is fully coated with the melted marshmallow mixture.
- Form Rectangle: Transfer the cereal mixture onto the prepared pan. Using a spatula or hands, press and pat it down into a thin, even rectangle.
- Spread Fluff: Spread the marshmallow fluff evenly in a thin layer over the cereal rectangle to add a creamy texture and sweetness.
- Roll Sushi: Slice the cereal sheet in half crosswise. Starting from the long side, carefully roll up each half into a tight sushi roll shape.
- Chill: Place the rolls in the refrigerator and chill for about 1 hour until they are firm and set.
- Slice and Serve: After chilling, slice the rolls into sushi-sized pieces and serve as a fun, colorful dessert or snack.
Notes
- Use wax paper to easily remove the cereal mixture from the pan without sticking.
- Press the cereal mixture firmly for compact rolls that hold their shape better.
- You can substitute marshmallow fluff with additional melted marshmallows for the inner layer if desired.
- Store leftover sushi rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- For cleaner slices, use a sharp, wet knife when cutting the sushi rolls.
