Instructions

  1. Melt White Chocolate: In a medium microwave-safe bowl, microwave white chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon of refined coconut oil in 30-second increments, stirring thoroughly between each session until the mixture is completely melted and smooth, approximately 90 seconds in total.
  2. Melt Blue Candy: In a small microwave-safe bowl, microwave the dark blue candy melts together with the remaining 1/4 teaspoon of refined coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring consistently until smooth and fully melted, about 1 minute total.
  3. Prepare Blue Candy Piping Bag: Transfer the melted blue candy into a small zip-top plastic bag and carefully cut a very small hole in one corner to create a piping bag for drizzling.
  4. Dip Strawberries: One by one, grasp each strawberry by its leafy top and dip it into the melted white chocolate, ensuring to leave approximately a 1/4 inch of the red strawberry top visible and uncovered.
  5. Decorate Strawberries: Drizzle the blue candy over the white chocolate coating in lines using the prepared piping bag, then immediately sprinkle the strawberries with assorted red, white, and blue sprinkles for a patriotic design. Arrange the decorated strawberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
