This Sugar Free Keto Frosting is a creamy, rich buttercream made without any carbohydrates, perfect for ketogenic and low-carb diets. Ingredients

Scale

Frosting Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Danish Creamery European Style Unsalted Butter (softened at room temperature)
  • 1 cup Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Allulose Blend
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 tbsp Heavy cream (adjust as needed)

Instructions

  1. Cream Butter and Sweetener: Using a hand mixer, cream the softened Danish Creamery butter and Besti powdered monk fruit allulose blend together for 2-3 minutes. Start mixing at low speed and then increase the speed once the sweetener is incorporated. Continue mixing until the mixture is light yellow and fluffy.
  2. Add Cream, Vanilla, and Salt: Beat in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and sea salt at low speed to combine all the ingredients evenly.
  3. Beat to Desired Consistency: Increase the mixer speed to high and beat the frosting for another 2-3 minutes until it reaches a smooth, creamy, and spreadable consistency.
  4. Adjust Consistency if Needed: If the frosting is too thick, add more heavy cream one teaspoon at a time, beating after each addition, until the desired consistency is achieved.

Notes

  • This frosting is best used immediately but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week; bring to room temperature and re-whip before using.
  • Adjust the heavy cream amount as needed for spreading or piping consistency.
  • Ensure the butter is softened to room temperature for easier mixing and smoother texture.
  • This frosting is 0-carb and sugar-free, perfect for keto and diabetic-friendly desserts.
