  • Author: Mariam
  • Total Time: 2 hours 11 minutes
  • Yield: 16 pieces 1x

Description

This easy and delicious Chocolate Fudge recipe combines creamy sweetened condensed milk with semi-sweet mini chocolate chips to create a rich, smooth treat. Perfect for chocolate lovers, this no-bake fudge sets quickly in the refrigerator and requires just a few simple ingredients and minimal prep work.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking pan: Line a 9×9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, allowing the edges to hang over the sides. This will help you easily lift the fudge out once it has chilled.
  2. Combine chocolate and condensed milk: In a medium microwave-safe bowl, add the semi-sweet mini chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk together.
  3. Heat and stir mixture: Microwave the mixture for one minute. Then let it sit for an additional minute without stirring to allow the heat to continue melting the chocolate.
  4. Mix in vanilla extract: Stir the mixture until the chocolate chips are completely melted and the mixture is uniform. Immediately mix in the vanilla extract for flavor.
  5. Spread mixture in pan: Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  6. Chill and set: Cover the pan with plastic wrap and chill it in the refrigerator for at least two hours, or until the fudge is firm and set.
  7. Cut and serve: Once set, use the parchment paper edges to lift the fudge out of the pan, then cut it into bite-sized pieces for serving.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper with overhanging edges to make removing the fudge easier.
  • Make sure to stir immediately after microwaving to prevent the chocolate from seizing.
  • For a firmer fudge, chill it longer in the refrigerator.
  • You can add nuts or other mix-ins to the chocolate mixture before chilling if desired.
  • Store leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
